Since founding Advamed, Omar El Khatib has brought a different mindset to the medical distribution space—one shaped by global experience and a refusal to accept the status quo.

As a serial entrepreneur with roots in multinational leadership, he saw a clear gap: too many companies were simply moving boxes instead of building lasting value. The region didn’t need another distributor—it needed a strategic partner capable of driving clinical adoption, launching innovative therapies, and creating real market demand.
